คุณมิ้นกับคุณเจมส์เจอปัญหาเดียวกันซ้ำ ๆ ตอนหางานในออสเตรเลีย: กำแพงภาษา ข้อจำกัดของวีซ่า วัฒนธรรมการทำงานที่ไม่คุ้น และที่เจ็บที่สุดคือไม่รู้เลยว่าตำแหน่งไหน "สมัครได้จริง" — เสียเวลาสมัครงานที่สุดท้ายรับเฉพาะคนมี PR ทั้งคู่เลยลงมือสร้างแอป Pagoda Career ที่กรองประกาศงานตามประเภทวีซ่าของผู้ใช้ ตัดงานที่ต้องมี PR ออกตั้งแต่ต้น ให้คนไทยเห็นเฉพาะงานที่มีสิทธิสมัครจริง ๆ

Job hunting felt 'like being in a maze' — so two Thais built an app that filters jobs by visa
Khun Min and Khun James ran into the same problems over and over when job hunting in Australia: the language barrier, visa restrictions, an unfamiliar work culture, and — most painful of all — having no idea which positions they could 'actually apply for,' wasting time applying for jobs that in the end only accepted people with PR. So the two of them set about building the Pagoda Career app, which filters job listings by the user's visa type, cutting out jobs that require PR from the start, so Thais see only the jobs they're genuinely eligible to apply for. Takeaway: Before scattering out applications, always check first whether your visa lets you apply for that position — it saves an enormous amount of effort. And the very problems we run into ourselves so often can turn into a business idea.
